Overview

The Benchmade Model 42 is a highly revered grey Balisong created in the United States, produced during the year 2000-2009. It originates from the American company Benchmade's 40 series lineup of Balisongs.

Description

Handle

The Benchmade 42 features a 142mm long non-magnetic Titanium handle, with a latch and holes for grip.

Blade

The blade of the Benchmade 42 is made out of 154CM high grade stainless-steel, and achieves a hardness rating of approx. HRC 58-60. It features a Satin finish and is 95mm long. The blade design is grinded flat with a Spear Point style.

The length of the blade is approx. 95mm and 3mm thick.

Balance

The Benchmade Model 42 is 4.5 grams per cubic centimetre.

Hardware

The Benchmade 42 only uses Washers. Despite this it was one of the best flipping Balisongs of it's time. Now very much outclassed by modern Balisongs.
